Creek Swimmers Win Big Over AACS

Congratulations to our Eagles Swim Teams on two great victories Saturday, over AACS. 
Congratulations to our Eagles Swim Teams on two great victories Saturday, over AACS. The Varsity Girls won with a score of 95-55 and the Varsity Boys won 94-58. The Creek swimmers showed a lot of depth once again.

Top podium placements for the girls included Lily Swope '26, who won the 100 fly and 100 back, Natalie Swope '24, who won the 200 free & 100 free, and Irene Goldstein '25, who won the 100 breast. Wins for the boys included Hunter Walls '24, who took the 200 free, Preston Shapiro '25, who won the 200 IM, 
Liam Corson '25 who won the 100 fly and 100 back, and Sean Wissman '27,  who won the 100 breast. Both the girls' and boys' teams swept first, second, and third place in the 100 breaststroke events!

Season bests were achieved by Hunter and Taylor Lewis '24 in the 200 free, Preston in the 200 IM, Lily in the 100 Fly, Maia Riley '26, Sean, and Liam Foley '26 in the 100 free, Maddie Mixter '24 in the 100 back,  Irene and Sean in the 100 breast, and Owen Crum '26 in the 500 free. Coach Kelly Boring would also like to shout out Irene and Cheyenne Thomas '24, who both dropped 10 seconds in the 200 IM and Ben Tyburski '24 for swimming 200 IM for the first time.

The entire team should be commended for a great meet, after a challenging run of practices.  Way to go, CREEK!
