Eagles Soar at MIAA XC Championships
The Eagles Cross Country team had a great showing at the MIAA Cross Country Championship meet, with a 5th place finish for Varsity and a 1st place award for JV.
Eagles Cross Country had a great showing at the MIAA Cross Country Championship meet on Tuesday, October 31. Creek Varsity Runners finished 5th overall, while the JV team finished in first place! Congrats to the Cross Country team for earning the first championship of the 2023-2024 season.
The Varsity runners were led by junior Sam Favazza, who finished 18th overall with a time of 19:15. The JV runners had 7 of the top 10 finishers to earn the championship! The JV team was lead by sophomore Liam Foley, who finished 2nd overall with a time of 20:48.
