Welcome to Indian Creek School

Set in the beautiful Maryland countryside, for almost four decades Indian Creek School has provided an academically challenging education in a warm, nurturing environment. We serve a diverse group of students who have a wide range of interests, talents and skills.

Having begun as an elementary school in 1973, we are housed on two campuses only about ten minutes apart. In our the Lower and Middle Schools on the Evergreen Campus, children in Pre-K through eighth grade are happily engrossed in work that is both challenging and engaging. Teachers seek to nurture their students emotionally and to foster their appropriate intellectual growth. Our students are eager to come to school and treasure the close relationships they have with other students and their teachers.

In September 2004, Indian Creek opened our Upper School where we continue to provide both nurture and challenge for talented students with a wide range of skills. Our college preparatory program includes a range of advanced placement (AP) courses for which our students can receive college credit and a rich academic program complemented with a wide range of activities and special opportunities designed to enhance each student's areas of interest and expertise. Our students work closely with their teachers and benefit from a real sense of community. Our school seeks to find and celebrate the best in each student.
